I grew up in the tri-state area and still live in Bergen County New Jersey. I celebrated my Bar Mitzva in the 1970’s and I probably still have a bookcase worth of gifts that I rarely, if ever, used.

I have been a guest at hundreds of Bar and Bat Mitzvas and I’ve always tried to give gifts that were meaningful. I accomplished that goal by purchasing only gifts that I knew the recipient would truly love. I did my research “before” I made my purchases. Sometimes I knew the celebrant but oftentimes I would have to ask them about their hobbies, and interests or what teams or players they liked, along with what items they already owned.

I have been blessed to be able to celebrate the Bat Mitzvas of my 3 daughters in the past 6 years. They received many duplicate gifts and thus the idea for the Registry was launched. We hope you like our site. It’s like a Wedding Registry only for Bar and Bat Mitzvas.
